I am so sorry to hear of Harriet's passing. She was a true Scandinavian woman that was strong in her faith and convictions. We had many good talks in her room while I worked at ECF. I will miss her words of wisdom and encouragement. I suspect heaven will be a bit more organized with Harriet there and I can smell the baking from here. My prayers for healing hearts and lasting memories.

My mother, Beverly Kilde, played piano for Harriet when she directed the junior choir at the Drammen Lutheran Church in rural Mondovi, WI. Ironically Aug 9 marks the 7th year since Mom slipped into heaven. I think they will be making some beautiful music there. May God comfort you all.

We will miss seeing her smiling face. I will always remember her when I use her Cook Book, and I have some favorite recipes in there. Praying for the family during this time.
